The Block’s Alisa and Lysandra Fraser
SECOND LIVING AREA, OUTDOOR TERRACE & MAIN BATHROOM
The multi-story heritage mansion in Melbourne’s Albert Park underwent a significant makeover lately, completed by The Block’s Alisa and Lysandra Fraser. The magnificent Victorian home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, two different living spaces, a wine cellar, and even a movie theatre. Here, they offer their perspectives on how they selected distinctive window covering options required for this lovely home.
SECOND LIVING ROOM
Luxaflex Modern Roman Shades in the Traversed style featured in the upstairs living area. The Duo cleverly used these shades across the sliding doors and adjacent wall to help create the illusion of space, and were successful in making the room appear much wider than it actually is. The choice of Vertiglide operation means the shades can be closed for privacy or simply drawn back by hand, for clear and easy access to the outdoor terrace. Furthermore, unlike a typical soft Roman blind, Modern Roman Shades include a rear cordless design, for a clean exterior appearance and enhanced child safety.
OUTDOOR TERRACE
MAIN BATHROOM
The Duo sure did live up to their title of ‘bathroom queens’, the fully functional main bathroom was nothing short of perfection!
