For the Design Duo, the perfect window covering solution for Bedroom 2 and 3 would provide convenient light, privacy and temperature control, whilst adding to the look and feel of each space. Based on this criteria, Luxaflex Duette Shades with PowerView Motorisation were recommended by the Luxaflex consultant and used to dress the windows in both rooms.

Duette Shades proved to be the perfect addition to these rooms and here is why…

Insulation and temperature control – The unique honeycomb-within-a-honeycomb structure of Duette Shades provides efficient insulation by trapping air within the honeycomb cells, ultimately reducing heat loss in winter and keeping the rooms cooler in summer. The pleated fabric design of Duette Shades enables the blind to stack tightly up into the head rail, creating a true ‘picture window’ in Bedroom 2, stacking completely out of sight into the bulkhead to reveal the striking outdoor scenery.
